Is this affiliated with X?

No. Xcraper is an independent tool. “X.com” is referenced only to describe where the extension works.

Does Xcraper scrape automatically in the background?

No. Capture is user-triggered. You press capture in the floating panel and scroll. You can pause/stop anytime.

Why is capture done in the floating panel instead of the popup?

The popup cannot access the page DOM or follow scrolling. The floating panel runs on X.com so it can capture items as they load.

What can I export?

Profiles, followers/following by tab, and post snapshots. Exports are available as CSV and JSON.

Does this work with ThreadTrak?

Yes. Xcraper works fully on its own, and you can optionally pair it with ThreadTrak when you want to turn captured data into reply and follow-up workflows.
