ThreadTrak's AI Reply Analysis is our most powerful feature for managing high-volume Twitter accounts. It automatically categorizes incoming replies, identifies priority conversations, and helps you focus on what matters most.
This guide walks you through setup, configuration, and best practices.
What AI Reply Analysis Does
The AI analyzes every reply you receive and provides:
- Sentiment detection β Is this positive, negative, or neutral?
- Intent classification β Question, feedback, complaint, praise, spam?
- Priority scoring β How important is this reply?
- Topic tagging β What subject area does this relate to?
- Suggested responses β AI-generated reply suggestions (optional)
AI analysis runs locally in your browser. Your data never leaves your device unless you opt into cloud features.

| Request | Asking you to do something | "Can you make a thread about..." |
| Discussion | Continuing a conversation | Adding to a point, debating |
| Spam | Promotional or irrelevant | Bot replies, unrelated links |
Sentiment Scores
Sentiment is scored -100 to +100:
- -100 to -30: Negative
- -30 to +30: Neutral
- +30 to +100: Positive
Priority Scoring
Priority scores (1-100) help you focus on what matters:
High Priority (80-100)
- Questions from verified accounts
- Complaints that need addressing
- Replies from frequent engagers
- Potential business inquiries
Medium Priority (40-79)
- General questions
- Positive feedback worth acknowledging
- Discussion contributions
- Replies from mutual follows
Low Priority (1-39)
- Generic praise (β€οΈ, π₯, etc.)
- Tangentially related replies
- Low-engagement accounts
- Repeated patterns
Customizing Priority Rules
Go to Settings β AI Features β Priority Rules to customize:
Priority +20 if: Follower count > 10,000
Priority +15 if: Reply contains question mark
Priority +30 if: Account is in "VIP" list
Priority -20 if: Account has < 100 followers
Priority +25 if: Mutual follow
AI-Suggested Responses
When enabled, the AI generates response suggestions:
Response Types
- Quick Acknowledge β "Thanks for the feedback!" style responses
- Detailed Answer β Longer, thoughtful responses to questions
- Clarifying Question β When the AI isn't sure what's being asked
- Redirect β Pointing to resources (links, threads, etc.)
Using Suggestions
- Click any reply in your queue
- See AI suggestions in the sidebar
- Click to insert suggestion
- Edit as needed
- Post
Always review AI suggestions before posting. They're starting points, not final answers. Your authentic voice matters.
Training the AI
The AI learns from your behavior:
Implicit Training
- Which replies you respond to first
- Which suggestions you accept/reject
- How you modify suggestions
- Which replies you dismiss
Explicit Training
- Mark replies as "good example" or "bad example"
- Correct miscategorizations
- Rate AI suggestion quality
After 100+ interactions, the AI becomes noticeably better at understanding your preferences.
Performance Optimization
Speed Settings
| Setting | Speed | Accuracy |
|---|---|---|
| Fast | < 1 second | 85% |
| Balanced | 1-2 seconds | 92% |
| Thorough | 2-4 seconds | 97% |
Choose based on your volume. High-volume accounts may prefer "Fast" mode.
Batch vs. Real-Time
- Real-time: Analyzes replies as they come in
- Batch: Analyzes all new replies every 5 minutes
Batch mode uses less resources and API calls.
AI Features FAQ
Best Practices
1. Start with Local AI
Use the free local option for a week to understand the feature. Then upgrade to API-based if you want better accuracy.
2. Review Daily for Training
Spend 5 minutes daily marking AI categorizations as correct/incorrect. This dramatically improves accuracy over time.
3. Set Up VIP Lists
Create lists of accounts you always want prioritized. The AI will learn from these patterns.
4. Trust But Verify
Use AI as a filter, not a final decision-maker. Always review high-priority items manually.
5. Adjust Thresholds
If you're seeing too many low-quality replies marked as priority, raise your threshold settings.
Conclusion
AI Reply Analysis transforms how you manage Twitter conversations. Instead of manually sorting through every notification, let the AI surface what matters.
Start with default settings, then customize as you learn what works for your specific needs. The AI gets smarter the more you use it.
