What's New in ThreadTrak: January 2025 Update

Happy New Year! We've been busy building, and January brings our biggest update yet. Here's what's new in ThreadTrak.

🤖 AI Reply Analysis (Major Feature)

The headline feature: AI-powered reply categorization and prioritization.

What it does:

• Automatically categorizes every reply (question, feedback, praise, complaint, etc.)
• Assigns priority scores based on sender importance and content
• Detects sentiment to help you handle negative feedback first
• Suggests response templates for common reply types

How to use it:

1. Go to Settings → AI Features
2. Enable "AI Reply Analysis"
3. Choose your AI provider (local, OpenAI, or Anthropic)
4. Watch your queue transform

We've significantly improved ThreadTrak's performance:

🎯 Focus Mode Updates

Focus Mode gets several requested features:

New: Session Stats

After each Focus Mode session, see detailed stats:

• Time spent writing
• Words written
• Tweets/threads created
• Focus score (how often you tried to navigate away)

New: Templates

Save your most-used tweet formats as templates:

1. Write your template structure
2. Click "Save as Template"
3. Access with Ctrl/Cmd + 1-9 in Focus Mode

New: Auto-Save Improvements

Drafts now save every 5 seconds (was 30 seconds). Never lose work again.

📊 Analytics Dashboard Redesign

The analytics dashboard gets a fresh look and new capabilities:

New Charts

• Engagement by hour: See your best posting times
• Content type breakdown: Threads vs. singles vs. media
• Follower quality: Engagement rate of new followers
• Reply depth: How deep your conversations go

Comparison Mode

Compare any two time periods side-by-side. Perfect for measuring the impact of strategy changes.

Export Options

Export your data as:

• CSV (for spreadsheets)
• JSON (for developers)
• PDF report (for clients/teams)

Conversation mapping gets several upgrades:

Faster Rendering

Large threads (500+ replies) now render 3x faster using WebGL acceleration.

New Filters

• Filter by sentiment
• Filter by engagement threshold
• Filter to show only your replies
• Filter by time period

Save & Share

Save map views and share them as links. Great for case studies or showing off engagement patterns.

🐛 Bug Fixes

• Fixed: Focus Mode sometimes didn't restore Twitter UI on exit
• Fixed: Queue count badge occasionally showed wrong number
• Fixed: Analytics didn't account for timezone correctly
• Fixed: Map export sometimes cut off edge nodes
• Fixed: Reply suggestions persisting after sending
• Fixed: Memory leak when leaving sidebar open for hours
